Register today to join us on Sunday, September 24, 2023 at Island Lake Conservation Area for a 5k walk in honour of all of the women lost to domestic violence.

Dogs on leashes and baby strollers are welcome.

Event runs rain or shine.

$40/person (free for children 12 years of age and under)

A virtual registration option is also available.
(virtual registrants will receive a tax receipt)

 By registering for this event, all registrants knowingly and freely assume all such risks, both known and unknown, and assume full responsibility for their participation; and, and on behalf of their heirs, assigns, personal representatives and next of kin, hereby release and hold harmless family transition place, their officers, officials, agents and/or employees, volunteers, other participants, sponsoring agencies, sponsors, advertisers, and, if applicable, owners and lessors of the premises used to conduct the event (“releasees”), with respect to any and all injury, disability, death, or loss of damage to person or property, whether caused by the negligence of the releasees or otherwise; and, attest and verify that they are physically fit for this event.

11 a.m. Group photo and 5k walk begins

12:45 p.m. Raffle winners announced

1 p.m. Silent auction closes

2 p.m. Event ends, vendor marketplace closes
